Paws for Me

Our Standards

The Paws for Me Code of Ethics.

Every verified breeder on Paws for Me commits to the principles below. They are the foundation of what it means to be part of our network — and our promise to every buyer who finds their puppy through us.

  1. Principle 01

We only breed to improve the breed, not for profit alone

Every litter is planned with intention — to strengthen temperament, health, and breed standards. Breeding is a vocation, not a transaction.

  2. Principle 02

All puppies are home-raised and socialised

Puppies are raised inside the family home, exposed to everyday sights, sounds, and people from the start. We do not raise puppies in kennels or commercial facilities.

  3. Principle 03

Health testing is performed on all breeding dogs appropriate to breed

Parent dogs are health tested for the conditions known to affect their breed — including hip, elbow, eye, and DNA testing where relevant. Results are shared openly with buyers.

  4. Principle 04

Buyers are supported before and after purchase

Our breeders are available for guidance through the puppy's first weeks and across their lifetime — from feeding and training to long-term wellbeing.

  5. Principle 05

We do not sell to pet shops, brokers, or puppy farms

Puppies are placed directly into carefully matched homes. We never wholesale, supply third-party retailers, or work with commercial brokers.

"A breeder's responsibility doesn't end at the front gate. It lasts a lifetime."
